Please read these terms before using FlashDL. They set out what the Service is, what you may do with it, and the limits of what we promise. Using the Service means you accept them; if you do not, please do not use it.

How these terms are written
Words with an initial capital letter have the meaning given below, whether they appear in the singular or the plural.

- Website refers to FlashDL, reachable at flashdl.one.
- Service refers to the Website and the download tool it provides.
- Device means anything used to reach the Service — a phone, tablet or computer.
- Content means the videos, audio and other material the Service helps you locate.

Accepting these terms
Your access to the Service depends on accepting these terms, and they apply to everyone who visits or uses it. By using the Service you agree to be bound by them. If you disagree with any part, you should stop using it.
The Service is not intended for children. We do not knowingly provide it to anyone under 16, and where the law applying to you sets a higher age for consent, that age applies instead.
How we handle information is set out separately in our privacy policy, which forms part of your use of the Service.
What FlashDL does
FlashDL takes a video address you provide, reads what is publicly available for it, and returns the download options that exist. It is free, requires no account, and installs nothing on your Device.
We do not host, store or distribute the Content itself. When you choose an option, the file travels from wherever it is already hosted directly to your Device.
Your responsibility for what you download
This is the part that matters most, so it is stated plainly: you are responsible for what you download and for having the right to download it.
Saving material you created yourself is fine. So is material published under a licence that permits it, and material where the rights holder has given you permission. Outside of those cases, downloading someone else’s work may infringe their copyright and may breach the terms of the platform hosting it.
We cannot see what you have permission to keep, so that judgement is yours alone. You agree not to use the Service to break the law, to circumvent technical protections on paid or private material, or to redistribute other people’s work as your own.
Using the service fairly
Please use the Service as a person would, through a browser. Automated scraping, bulk querying, reselling access, or anything that degrades the Service for other people is not permitted, and we may block traffic that does it.
If you hold rights to a video
We do not host any files. If you hold rights to material and believe the Service is being used against those rights, write to us through the contact page. Tell us what the material is, where it sits, and how we can verify you are entitled to act for it. We take these seriously and will respond.
Third-party sites and files
The Service returns links to files hosted elsewhere and may link to sites we neither own nor control. We are not responsible for their content, their availability, or their practices, and we accept no liability for loss arising from your use of them. We encourage you to read the terms and privacy policy of any site you visit.
Suspending access
We may suspend or withdraw access to the Service at any time, without notice, including where these terms have been breached. Your right to use the Service ends immediately if we do.
Provided as it is
The Service is provided as it is and as available, without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
We do not promise that the Service will meet your requirements, that every video will work, that it will be available without interruption, that results will be accurate or current, or that faults will be corrected. Platforms change constantly and links expire, so some requests will simply fail.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranties to be excluded. Where that is the case, the exclusions above apply only as far as the law permits.
Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including lost profits, lost data, business interruption or loss of privacy — even if we were advised such loss was possible.
The Service is provided free of charge and nothing is ever sold through it, so no payment-based limit applies. Where the law does not allow our liability to be excluded, it is limited to the smallest amount the law permits.
Which law applies
These terms and your use of the Service are governed by the law of the country in which the Company is established, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Your use may also be subject to local, national or international law that applies to you where you are.
Resolving a dispute
If you have a concern about the Service, please raise it with us first through the contact page. Most things are settled quickly that way, and we would rather hear about a problem than have you go elsewhere with it.
Consumers in the European Union
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you keep the benefit of any mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you live. Nothing in these terms removes rights you hold under that law.
If part of these terms fails
If any provision is found unenforceable or invalid, it will be applied as closely as possible to its original intent so far as the law allows, and the remaining provisions stay in force. If we do not enforce a right straight away, that does not mean we have given it up.
Translated versions
Where these terms are offered in another language, the English text prevails if the two ever disagree.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms at any time. Where a change is significant we will make reasonable efforts to signal it before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the revised terms; if you do not accept them, please stop using the Service.
